On this day five years ago, our outstanding Assistant Instructor Antonio Fortier was earning his first Jiu-Jitsu stripe at 12 years old.
Since then, Antonio has put in the work! He continued to show up, worked hard, climbed the ranks, broke his arm at practice, catapulted his skills, won several tournaments in the Juvenile Division (16 & 17-year-olds), and has immersed himself in the art of teaching Jiu-Jitsu to the youth, a skill not even mastered by many black belts out there.
It’s been great witnessing this young man's progress as a practitioner, athlete, and now as an assistant instructor, helping improve the lifestyles of the next generation. Keep it up, Antonio, well done, sir!
