Congratulations to the newest members of the Kids Black Belt Club, Reed Thomas (10), Viviana Diaz (, and Jack Baker (7)!
These young Jiu-Jitsu practitioners will bring competitiveness, focused intensity, calmness, fun, leadership, and fearlessness to the room.
Reed has been training for almost three years. He's a hard worker who trains consistently! He's very polite, kind, focused, and always gives his best effort. Reed's always willing to put in extra work before class to improve.
At the end of Summer, Reed entered our Internal Tournament and displayed exceptional calm under pressure. We are excited to witness his growth in his new program!
Viviana is a natural leader who trains with a fearless tenacity. She does a great job helping the younger students and those with less experience. She completed 30 additional hours of training during Summer camp and displayed her fearlessness when in the ring for MMA sparring day.
She recently tested herself at the Jiu-Jitsu World League Tournament and fought with courage and heart for her first time on the big stage. Viviana's hard work has been paying off, as she was recently promoted to the Yellow/white belt rank at our Winter belt Ceremony!
Jack is a competitor! He's an exceptional athlete who has the will to win. He recently took 3rd place at the Jiu-Jitsu World League last month. Very impressive for being his first major competition! He showed grit, picking himself up after a tough loss and securing the bronze medal.
Like Viviana, Jack also earned a new belt last week. It was his first belt promotion, and we can see him climbing up the ranks rapidly with the work ethic he's shown so far!
Well done, everyone! We are proud of all your hard work and are excited to have you be a part of the Kids Black Belt Club!
